Since its very beginning, Mada has followed an integrated territorial approach in the planning and implementation of its diverse projects.

Mada's activities take place in three main regions of North Lebanon: Hermel, Akkar and Dunniyeh. All three rural regions are characterized by serious socio-economic challenges and problems (poverty, lack of infrastructure, lack of job opportunities, illiteracy, etc.) which Mada strives to alleviate following different territorial strategies with a long-term goal -pertaining to environmental protection.

Mada's additional role as a project facilitator in the region is gradually gaining importance since different donor NGOs and institutions are approaching Mada's team for their insights and knowledge of the Hermel, Akkar, and Dunniyeh regions. This expertise allows Mada to increasingly direct potential sponsors towards urgently needed infrastructure and socio-economic projects in villages in the three regions.
